I am poem

I am the tears running down the face of someone who lost a loved one.
I wonder what we done to make this world so dangerous and what would it be without violent.
I hear screaming of a mother who just lost her son to violence.
I see so many coffins going six feet under.
I want to feel safe walking down these cracked streets.
I am the tears running down the face of someone who lost a loved one.

I pretend that their will be no more tears to cry.
I feel the emptiness of missing that special someone.
I touch the cool, hard surface of your tomb stone.
I worry that I wont be able to take a other step forward without you.
I cry remembering the times we use to have.
I am the tears running down the face of someone who lost a loved one.

I understand that gos has to take us all one day.
I say when can the one we believe and pray to help us through the pain.
I dream of one day to be next to the lord himself.
I try to lend a hand and make a difference.
I hope that everyone realizes that every life should be cherished.
I am the tears running down the face of someone who lost a loved one.
